Books for instrument training

The Instrument Flight Manual by William K. Kershner is available from ASA at http://www.asa2fly.com/Instrument-Flight-Manual–P737_product1.aspx. It’s worth calling there to ensure that they have the latest edition, and inquire whether it covers GPS; many books, even recent ones, haven’t caught up.

Instrument Flying by Richard L. Taylor is available at http://www.amazon.com/Instrument-Flying-Richard-Taylor/dp/0070633452. This is the book that I said is a good companion to the more textbook-like books.
